Cancellation Policy

Fixed-Scope Engagements (Services 0–12) Cancellation by Client | Notice given before scheduled session | Fee applied | |---------------------------------------|-------------| | 72 hours or more | No charge — full refund or no payment taken | | 48–72 hours | 50% of engagement fee | | 24–48 hours | 100% of engagement fee | | Less than 24 hours | 100% of engagement fee | | No-show (no contact made) | 100% of engagement fee, forfeited | - Cancellation notice must be provided in writing (email to ben@northgateit.com.au). - "Session start time" is the confirmed booking time on the calendar invite. - Where a deposit has been paid (Service 6 — New Office Network Assessment), the deposit is non-refundable for cancellations with less than 48 hours notice. Rescheduling by Client - Rescheduling with 48+ hours notice: no charge; one reschedule included per booking. - Rescheduling with less than 48 hours notice: treated as a cancellation and rebooking; cancellation fees above apply. - Maximum one reschedule per engagement. Subsequent rescheduling requests are treated as new bookings at the current price. Cancellation or Rescheduling by Northgate - Northgate will provide as much notice as possible of any cancellation or rescheduling. - In the event Northgate cancels: the client receives a full refund (if already paid) and priority rebooking at no additional charge. - Northgate does not guarantee specific consultant availability outside of confirmed booking windows. Discovery Call (Service 0) — Special Terms - The $150 Discovery Call fee is non-refundable for no-shows or cancellations with less than 24 hours notice. - Cancellation with 24+ hours notice: $150 credit applied toward any future Northgate IT Consulting engagement (not limited to a Discovery Call). - The $150 credit toward a first engagement remains valid for **60 days** from the date of the Discovery Call. - Credit applies to one engagement only; it is not transferable or stackable. - Credit terms are confirmed in the post-call summary email.
